After the borrow period lapses, the license automatically becomes available on the license manager. When a license is borrowed, it is unavailable for sharing from the license manager. You can choose a borrow period up to the maximum borrow period. Your administrator can reduce the maximum borrow period. You can borrow network licenses for remote use for up to 180 days (or 6 months). This functionality is possible with License Borrowing.

Yet just about anything would make it fully utilize every percentage of power and make it difficult to do anything else since anything else required to share those hogged resources. Most network licensed Autodesk products allow you to use the software while temporarily disconnected from your company’s network, such as when you are on business trip or working at a remote location. My i5 6600k was supposed to be "the best for gaming if you dont need hyper threading" of that generation and was released well ahead of some games that shouldn't have demanded so much power from it. Just because some games are heavily CPU bound and may strain him to 100% doesn't mean that his CPU isn't lacking in power. It is quite possible that his is too and that is the point I was making. But regardless raising video settings is supposed to put some of that load onto the GPU rather than CPU from what I understand.įinally, yes I'm aware my CPU was a bottleneck lol. being at the mercy of the CPUs limitations.Īs far as PUBG goes that's correct but higher settings going to GPU usage should be applicable to any game. Most logical people would be capping it at a high number whether it be the refresh rate of the monitor or a bit higher (input lag reduction)? At least in that case it is a choice of allowing it to be at 100% usage vs. That's simply because leaving the frame cap off is attempting to pull every resource out of it to achieve the highest number and if you were trying to do multiple things, you wouldn't do this.

If anyone has anything they'd like to add feel free Is it just good usage or did my cpu possibly get damaged by being maxed out and overheated for a week? Thanks.Įdit: Looks like it's all good. I tried removing it and it does lower the usage on everything other than rainbow. My overall performance is the same, my temps are under control (Hyper evo 212), all seems good, but I was never on 100% usage before. All I can do is use Nvidia inspector to cap fps for less usage (Fuck V-sync). I tried using high settings like shadows to make the gpu kick on more, or lower fps in general to make overall usage go down, but it didn't really do much. After changing paste and monitoring usage, I noticed PUBG going at 100%, CS going at 100% if I didn't cap at 300fps, Squad going at 100%, Gta 5. It took my a while to realise it was going at 100% and when I noticed my thermal paste needed changing as my temps were getting pretty high across all games. Now this game has a known bug where specific CPU's get maxed out and run at 100%. The weird thing is, I'm pretty sure it didn't do this until I played Rainbow six siege. The reason I ask is because my CPU runs at 100% with pretty much every game I play.
